Angela and Marc welcome you to Somers Wood Caravan Park on the mature woodlands of the Packington Estate in Meriden, the centre of England. We are an Adult only caravan park, conveniently located for touring Warwickshire, Birmingham, surrounding villages and visiting the NEC.
Here at Somers Wood we have excellent facilities to ensure that your stay here is the best it can be. Luxurious heated shower block fully-refurbished throughout in Jan 2020.
Adjacent Golf Course, Club House & Coarse Fishing Lakes.
We welcome Touring Caravans, Motorhomes, 5th Wheelers, RV’s, Folding Campers and Trailer Tents (Sorry no frame tents). We are an exclusively Adult Only Caravan Park, 18 years + including visitors. Well behaved, quiet dogs are always welcome!

Here at Somers Wood we have excellent facilities to ensure that your stay is the best it can be. Fully Serviced Pitches and Standard Pitches all with hardstanding & electric hook-up. Free flowing hot water throughout the shower block with fully adjustable showers to suit you! Hair dryers and shaver points. Enclosed dish wash area complete with washing machine & tumble dryer.

Excellent site, great location
Booked 2 nights here on a fully serviced pitch. The site is in a great location just a 20 minute walk in to Meriden where the Bull’s Head pub allows dogs in to the bar which was great for us. The site is extremely well maintained and very attractive. Great facilities which were clean. The pitches were spacious. Everyone who works there are extremely friendly. A great time had.

We stayed here for a short break while visiting the Classic car exhibition at the NEC. Perfectly located for NEC easy to find and easy access to NEC. Spotlessly clean showers and toilet block even though weather conditions were against them! Lovely wooded site, very pretty and clean, tidy and peaceful. Would highly recommend…

Just returned from a great weekend at this superb site. Setting and grounds immaculate. Ideal for nec and trip into birmingham city. Located next to a golf course that offers excellent food and drink and make you feel welcome. Will definitely return. Thanks somers wood for a memorable weekend.

About our Park
Somers Wood is a childfree park just for Adults to relax and enjoy our tranquil surroundings. We accommodate touring caravans, motor homes, 5th wheelers, RV’s, folding campers and trailer-tents (Sorry no frame tents).
Meriden village, approx 1 mile, is very friendly with traditional shops that stock most supplies guests are likely to need during their stay. There’s also a fish & chip shop, choice of pubs and restaurants nearby with something for every taste and budget. Indian and Chinese food can be ordered for delivery to the park.
Stonebridge Golf Course is adjacent to the park with a fine 27 hole golf course and 21 bay floodlit driving range.
New for 2024 – 18 hole Adventure Golf.
The club’s Spike bar welcome’s Somers Wood guests offering a 10% discount on food orders only – drinks not included. Your four legged friends are more than welcome to join you too🐾

Packington Somers Coarse Fishery is a few moments walk from the park. Keen anglers will enjoy the choice of well-stocked pools and specimen lakes at this premier Midlands fishing venue.

We are now going to open for the 2023 season on FRIDAY 10TH FEBRUARY – this is just a few days earlier than first advertised so you can enjoy an extra weekend with us here at Somers Wood.

MARCH 2022
We will be increasing our pitch fee by £1 per night on all NEW bookings taken from the 1st April 2022. We have held our pitch fee for the last few years but moving forward and with our latest delivery of heating oil tripling in price there really is no alternative. On the plus side you still have a few more days to book a pitch at current prices. Thank you for your continued support 🥰
NOV 30TH 2021
Today we close for a short break but we will be re-opening on the 23rd Dec 2021 for Christmas & New Year (Pitches still available over the Christmas period at the time of writing this update) Somers Wood will then close on the 3rd Jan 2022 and re-open on the 18th Feb 2022. During this time our booking office will remain open from Monday to Friday between 10am-3pm 01676522978 to take your telephone bookings and any enquiries you may have? Please leave us a message and your best contact telephone number if you choose to call outside of these times and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
