On-Line Bookings
On-line booking is NOT available to anyone who tows with or travels in any kind of COMMERCIAL VEHICLE. Please ring the booking office direct on 01676 522978 to make further enquiries before you proceed with your reservation.
All Bookings
The price of your pitch includes your Motor Home and car – Caravan or Trailer Tent with your tow car – Camper Van – 2 adults and an awning. Your pitch fee includes £2 per night electric on your pay as you go meter. Any additional electric required is payable by you, via the QR code on your electric hook up point using your smart device or with £1 coins via the CampaCash machine located in the Laundry room.
A minimum of a 3 night stay over the BANK HOLIDAY WEEKEND and a minimum of a 2 night stay over all other weekends is required.
In the event of cancellation, please note all deposits and fees taken for overnight stays are non-refundable and non-transferable. Payment in full is required 14 days before your arrival date and is non-refundable and non-transferable in the event of cancellation. We do recommend you take out suitable holiday insurance cover in the unlikely event that you may need to cancel your reservation.

CHECK-IN TIMES: –
• Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday 1pm to 5pm
• Friday 1pm – 7pm
• Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays 1pm – 3pm
Check-in Times subject to change during winter/off peak season.
If you are UNABLE to CHECK-IN during the above times shown, you will need to contact us either on the day of your arrival or up to a couple of days before, so we can give you the gate access code to the caravan park and arrange a late arrival for you. If you do not arrange a late arrival, no admittance to the park will be possible outside of the designated check-in times as reception will be closed.
We reserve the right to alter prices at any time.
We do not accept anyone (including visitors) on the park under the age of 18.
Bookings are accepted only for the party named and are not transferable.
Pitches are available from 1pm on the day of your arrival and must be vacated by 12 midday on the day of your departure.
Late departures cannot be pre-booked in advance but may be available? Want to stay an extra few hours? Please call into reception just after 10am on the day of your departure to check pitch availability and pay the fee.
No refunds will be made for early departure.
Noise should be kept to a minimum between 10.30pm and 8.00am. Anyone causing a nuisance or disturbance to other guests will be asked to leave with no refund payable.
All dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times both around the park and whilst on your pitch. Please clean up after your dogs. You will be requested to leave the park if your dogs are a nuisance or danger to other guests. Please do not leave your dogs unattended at any time!
Awnings to be erected on the hard standing area of your pitch only. Rock pegs required.
No Gazebos – No Generators – Nothing to be attached or hung from the trees – No Camp Fires – No Fire Pits – Barbecues must be elevated off the ground at all times.
Speed limit is 5mph.
All visitors (18 years and over) are required to register and pay £2 per person at reception on arrival. If you are expecting your visitors to arrive outside of reception opening hours, please pop in during the day to pay and pre-register them with us. All visitors to leave the park by 10pm. Thank-you.
You will be given the Park security gate code on arrival. Please do not share the code or let anyone in or out of the park that is not known to you. All paying guests that are staying at Somers Wood will already have the gate code. This will keep the Caravan Park secure at all times, both for you and your fellow campers.
The management and staff accept no responsibility for loss or damage to any persons, visitors, pets and their property whilst staying on or visiting Somers Wood Caravan Park.
Somers Wood Caravan Park reserves the right to cancel, refuse admission or terminate a holiday where the client has failed to disclose all the material facts as required whilst making a reservation.
Once you (on-line booking) or we (telephone booking) have completed your reservation, you will receive a confirmation by email. Please check that all your details and dates booked on your reservation are correct. If there are any errors that you wish to amend or if you do not receive your confirmation within 2 days, then please call our booking office direct on 01676 522978 and we will endeavour to help you.
